Try to Update the Drivers When Your Touchpad Still Not Working
Now that Windows 10 is kind of out of date, for that reason most touchpad makers have already updated the drivers. However, if you want to update the driver manually you can do it in two ways. First of all, try to right click the start button and then click on Control Panel button. Right from the window of Control Panel, click the Device Manager.
In Device Manage, opt for “Mice and other pointing devices” and go find your own touchpad based on your laptop brand. Right click on it and then click on Update Driver Software. Your laptop then will check the internet to update the driver software. Otherwise, if your laptop cannot find an updated driver, then you might need to look for the download section. In this section, you should find some updated drivers which your laptop manufacturer has released. When you have already downloaded the new driver for your laptop, then try to install it. If it doesn’t work, you may need to remove the old driver and then go for installing the new driver.
